The importance of working out every day
Welcome to the third blog post of Get Ripped Tools! We will be talking about the importance of working out every day. First, let's talk about daily workouts in general. You would have to be living under a rock not to know how beneficial this is for our health and wellbeing. And if you have been living under a rock, well, now you know!
In fact, researchers have found that just 30 minutes of physical exercise a day is more beneficial in weight loss compared to that of 60 minutes a day. So basically if you halve your workout time, it will result in more weight loss than by doubling it. And if that isn't an incentive to get your 30 minutes a day, then we don't know what is!
But thirty minutes still seems like a lot you say, well, you'd be surprised at how easy it can be done once you get into the habit especially if you have all the equipment ready to go. Our workout tools can get you there. There are so many workout variations that you can use that your 30 minutes a day doesn't have to be boring or monotonous.
Having calisthenics workout equipment at home can help you save on gym memberships
Paying joining fees and ongoing membership fees for different clubs just to use their equipment seems ridiculous, especially when you can have all of your own calisthenics workout equipment with only one payment.
Benefits of working out every day
We know weight loss is one significant benefit of working out every day and is one of the most common denominators in people's reasons for exercising in the first place. Although many people can get disheartened and lose track when trying to achieve weight loss as it obviously doesn't happen overnight and many setbacks occur by life getting in the way. Another study we came across was very encouraging as it found that even just by losing a small percentage of weight can still help to boost your overall health. This is great as you can start reaping these improved health benefits internally almost straight away.
Some of these internal health shifts include a decreased risk of diabetes. Diabetes is a severe illness that can significantly decrease the quality of life as well as life expectancy. Diabetes is caused by too much sugar in the blood. Exercise reduces this amount of sugar. Another thing that exercise reduces is cholesterol. Cholesterol is when bad fats build up in the blood. Too much cholesterol leads to build up in the arteries and can cause heart disease.
- Lowered blood pressure
- Decreased risk of certain cancers
- Improved mobility
- Reduced joint pain
- Reduced risk of stroke
- Reduced back pain
Another major benefit of daily workouts as well as one of our favourites is improved mental health. Did you know that in Australia, suicide is the leading cause of death for people aged between 15 and 44 years? Physical exercise is so important as it can literally save lives. It improves anxiety and depression by the release of feel-good chemicals into your brain called endorphins and serotonin. It also reduces stress by controlling the cortisol and adrenaline levels in your body. This can lead to a better nights sleep and increased energy flow, helping you to better tackle life' s ups and downs. Plus, exercise is an excellent distracter from your problems as when you are exercising you are often focused on the specific movements you are performing.
The changes in physical appearance, e.g. getting ripped, can also improve your self-esteem, giving you more confidence, an improved social life and a more exciting sex life! Your sex drive will be elevated as well as increased blood flow which leads to greater sexual satisfaction. You will also have better stamina and overall improved flexibility and muscle strength.
Wow, so many incredible benefits to working out.
